Abstract:【Objective】In order to explore the differences in flowering pomegranate varieties of photosynthet⁃ic capacity,4 pomegranate cultivars were collected and studied.【Methods】The diurnal variation of photosyn⁃thesis and net photosynthetic ratel of four pomegranate cultivars(‘Red pearls’‘Red agate’‘Sweet greenseed’and‘Tunisia’)were studied under the condition of natural light intensity and controlled light. Index⁃es as net photosynthetic rate(Pn),intercellular CO2concentration(Ci),stomatal conductance(Gs),transpi⁃ration rate(Tr)and photosynthetic physiological were measured and the photoreaction curve was fitted byright angle hyperbolic model.【Results】The diurnal variation of photosynthetic rate of four varieties of pome⁃granate was a single peak curve,and the maximum net photosynthetic rate of‘Red pearl’pomegranate andtuna pomegranate were higher than that of‘Red agate’pomegranate and‘Sweet green seed’pomegranate.The net photosynthetic rate of leaves under different photosynthetic active radiation was a smooth singlepeak curve,and the maximum was‘Red pearl’>‘Red agate’>‘Sweet green seed’>‘Tunisia’,so as the twophotosynthetic efficiencies. The net photosynthetic rate of four pomegranate cultivars presented as a singlepeak curve,and the maximum net photosynthetic rate was‘Sweet green seed’>‘Red pearl’>‘Tunisia’>‘Red agate’. The net photosynthetic rate(Pn)of four different pomegranate cultivars showed a single peakcurve,while the net photosynthetic rate(Pn)of the second crop showed a trend of rising first and then rising.【Conclusion】Under the effective illumination,the physiological indexes of‘Red pearls’and‘Sweet greenseeds’were higher than that of‘Tunisia’and the‘Red agate’.
