PDF Abstract

‘Bao Gai Persimmon'is a new non-astringent cultivar of Chinese Persimmon,which was selected from Luotian county that is abundant of Chinese persimmon germplasm resources in Hubei province. The cultivar shows big fruit,few seeds,good quality,tolerance to barrenness,high and stable yield,crunchy pulp,thick juicy,concentrated sweet,storage tolerance and matures in late October in Hubei province. The average weight of single fruit is 210 grams,which contains 1 ~ 3 seeds. It can be cultivated in Dabie mountain regions in Hubei,Anhui,Henan province.
