‘Jishuo',a new mid-late maturing pear cultivar,was derived from the cross between‘Huangguan'and‘Jinhua cultivar'. The fruit ripens in the end of August.‘Jishuo'has fusiform fruits,green-yellow peel and light ware surface. The average fruit weights 344 g. Its flesh is white,crisp and sweet with rich juice and little stone cells. The soluble solidcontent of fruit is 13.0%. The cultivar has a top grand quality. The tree is open and the tree crown is semicircular. Furthermore,it is resistant to pear scab and has high yield characteristics. It's flowering in early of April,the florescence can maintain 7-9 d,and it matures at the end August in Shijiazhuang area. The fruit development period is 130-140 d. It can be used as mutual pollination varieties among‘Huangguan'and‘Yali'.
