【Objective】The aim of this paper is to acquire transcription factor related to the stress re-sponse in banana.【Methods】A MYB1 gene was acquired from banana roots c DNA library by randomlysequencing.【Results】The Ma MYB1 sequences amplified from banana roots c DNA library is the same asthe plasmid sequences in library before constructed,indicating that Ma MYB1 was a full-length c DNA,containing a 951 bp of the largest open reading frame,encoding 316 amino acids. Protein alignmentshowed MYB1 contains two complete conserved MYB R2 and R3 domain. Phylogenetic analysis showedthat Ma MYB1 was closer to MYBs from Phoenix dactylifera(XP008778085.1)and Elaeis guineensis(XP010914123.1). Tissue-specific analysis showed that the expression of Ma MYB1 was higher in theleaf,root and flower. Real-time PCR analysis showed Ma MYB1 was in response to drought,low tempera-ture,salt and Foc TR4.【Conclusion】Ma MYB1 may plays important roles in banana response to differentstresses.
