Construction of SSR characteristic fingerprinting data table for 29 pear cultivars

【Objective】For the convenience of fruit germplasm identification,genetic resources ex-change,management and utilization,new cultivar DUS(Distinctness,Uniformity,Stability)testing,SSRfingerprint data of 29 pear cultivars were collected as basic data to demonstrate a method of constructing anew diploid fruit cultivar SSR characteristic fingerprint data table.【Methods】After calculating the SSRgenotype number of every locus,adjusting the order of SSR loci,sorting and distinguishing the cultivars,coloring cultivars characteristic fingerprint data,and optimizing the fingerprint data table,a new SSRcharacteristic fingerprint data table of 29 pear cultivars was established.【Results】The results showed thattwo primer pairs(CH04h02 and NAUpy65d)among 12 SSR primer pairs used in this study could entirelydistinguish all 29 pear cultivars. These two primer pairs can be used as a set of core primer pairs to identi-fy all 29 pear cultivars.【Conclusion】The above mentioned method is simple and convenient. The cultivarSSR characteristic fingerprint data table can display the fingerprint data information and the discernibilityrelationship among cultivars comprehensively and intuitively,which is convenient for sharing the finger-print data and co-constructing the fingerprint database.
