Abstract: With the improvement of people's living standards and the continuous enhancement of health awareness, wine, as an elegant and healthy beverage, is increasingly favored by consumers. At present, the main wine grape varieties planted in China have weak disease resistance. 'Yunniang 3' is a new early-maturing wine grape hybrid bred by Chunxiong Autonomous prefecture academy of agricultural sciences, insititute of tropical eco-agricltural sciences of Yunnan academy of agricultural sciences and so on. Its parents are 'Huajia 8' and 'Dong 30-1'. The hybrid combinations were selected in 2015, and germination and planting were accelerated in 2016, the seedlings came into flowering and fruiting sucessively from 2018. The clone LV3-3 performed well. In 2020, regional planting began in Yuanmou, Yunnan province, and Basu, Xizang Autonomous Region. In 2023, it was registered as a non major crop variety by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and named 'Yunniang 3', the registration number is GPD putao(2023)530006. The surface color of the young leaves is green, and the mature leaves are pentagonal, 5-lobed, with light markings on both the upper and lower lobes. Leaf stalk depression opening. The clusters shape are conical. The average cluster weight is 130 g, and the maximum cluster weight is about 295 g. The average cluster length is 16.9 cm, and the cluster width is 10.6 cm. The density is moderate, with an average berry weight is 1.5 g. The vertical diameter of the fruit is 2.25 cm, and the horizontal diameter of the fruit is 1.68 cm. The fruit clusters are elliptical, and when fully ripe, they are purple black. No aroma, moderate skin thickness, moderate skin astringency, soft flesh, easy separation of fruit grains and stem, fully developed seeds, 1-2 seeds. Juice yield is 68%, soluble solids content is 20%, titratable acid content is 0.63%,Vc content is 4.36 mg/100g. In the dry and hot valley area of Yuanmou, Yunnan, this variety sprouts in late February, blooms in late March, turns color in mid May, and matures in early July, it has a fruit growth period of about 90 days. The plant has strong growth potential, well differentiated flower buds, bisexual flowers, and is diploid. More resistant to downy mildew and powdery mildew, moderately resistant to gray mold and white rot. It is suitable for promotion and planting in wine producing areas with annual rainfall ≤ 700 mm, such as Yunnan province and Xizang Autonomous Region. It is suitable for single stem hedgerow cultivation. The row spacing is determined based on the local sunshine situation and the level of mechanized cultivation. The row spacing is generally 2.0-2.5 meters. For annual new shoots, middle and short shoots should be pruned. During the production process, yield should be controlled to improve the quality of wine grape raw materials, and attention should be paid to the prevention and control of diseases and pests.
