Puyuan Lüzuan is a new high-quality medium-maturing grape variety, selected from the offsprings of 12-3-21 (the offspring of Meiguixiang and Daziwang) (♀) and Shine Muscat (♂) in the Institute of Horticulture, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences (ZAAS). The crossing was made in 2015. 246 hybrid seedlings were planted in 2016. After observation from 2019 to 2022, the excellent strain numbered 15-7-1 was selected. The fruit was oval in shape with yellow-green color, sweet flavor, strong rose aroma, good storability and transportability. The cluster was conical, with an average ear weight of 620.5 g. The soluble solids content was 19.1%-20.5%. The average single berry weight was 9.05 g. The fruits matured from late July to early August in Zhejiang. The tree vigor was moderate with excellent flower bud differentiation ability and productivity. It had strong resistance to diseases and waterlogging and high temperature. It was authorized with the new plant variety right (CAN20221010352) by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 2024, and was named as Puyuan Lüzuan. The variety was suitably cultivated with small ring shed rain shelter and flat shed in Zhejiang and could be possible to cultivate in other areas of China.
