Sensitivity of Cladosporium cladosporioides causing mango new disease sooty blotch to Fungicides

【Objective】To provide a scientific basis for controlling the disease in field.【Method】the sensitivity of the pathogen to fungicides was tested With the growth rate method.【Results】Eleven among 30 kinds of fungicides showed relatively better inhibitory effect with the inhibitory rate higher than 50% in the primary screening test. The toxicity test of 11 fungicides showed that Pyraclostrobin,Polyoxin B,Carbendazim,Difenoconazole,Prochloraz,Difenoconazole-Propiconazole and Bromothalonil had better in-hibitory effect with EC50 values between 0.17 mg·L-1and 0.59 mg·L-1. The EC50 values of Flusilazole and Propiconazole were between 0.73 mg·L-1and 0.80 mg·L-1. The inhibitory effect of Trifloxystrobin-Tebuconazole and Tebuconazole was poor with EC50 values close to 2 mg·L-1. C. cladosporioides was more sensitive to Carbendazim,Bromothalonil and Difenoconazole.【Conclusion】Pyraclostrobin,Polyoxin B,Carbendazim,Bromothalonil,Prochloraz and Difenoconazole would have good potential for controlling mango sooty blotch and be worth of a further test in field.
