Abstract: 【Objective】In order to provide a theoretical basis for the guidance of grape rain-shelter cultivation, the berry quality under rain-shelter cultivation was observed in this research.【Methods】Six-year-old‘Golden finger'grapevine was used to study the berry quality including berry length, berry width, berry weight, soluble solids, total acidity, skin coloring indexes and aromatic component.【Results】The results showed that under the rain-shelter cultivation condition, the rapid increase period of berry weight delayed about one week, total acid content decreased obviously;CIRG of the skin coloring indexes was 1.23,which was significantly less than that of control 1.25;Aldehydes were the main components of aromatic compounds, and 3-Hexenal was detected only in rain-shelter treatment; The relative content of 2-Hexenal was the highest among aldehydes, which increased by 17.52% compared with control; But the berry length, width and soluble solids content did not show significant difference between the treatment and control.【Conclusion】Skin coloring indexes and aromatic component of the berry changed under rain-shelter cultivation.
