蓝莓新品种丰可来的选育

摘 要:丰可来是从日出(Sunrise)的播种实生苗中筛选而来的北高丛蓝莓新品种,具有果实香甜、细腻多汁、风味佳、有香气、丰产等特点。该品种的果穗密度中等,果蒂痕小,果萼直立生长,果实酸度适中,可溶性固形物含量(w)为10.50%,果个大,平均单果大小为1.57 cm × 1.78 cm,形状为扁圆形。丰可来的果粉厚度中等、分布均匀,果实颜色为中蓝色(102-B),果实中等硬度(2.77 N),平均单个果实的最大质量为2.34 g,最大果实质量为2.57 g。自然状态下种植,于6 月下旬开始成熟,属于早熟品种,适宜在中国北方或高海拔地区种植,土壤质地以壤土或壤砂土为宜,pH 值4.0~5.5,种植区域需冷量为600~1200 h。

蓝莓原产于北美洲,是一种具有重要经济价值的小浆果,蓝莓果实中不仅含有大量多糖、维生素、食用纤维等常规营养元素,还富含花青素、熊果苷、酚酸等特殊性营养物质,是一种营养与保健价值兼备的特色浆果[1-2]。近年来中国蓝莓产业规模迅速扩大,品种亟须更新换代,而目前市场主流新品种具有国外知识产权,在使用方面受到很大限制,为了产业长远健康发展,研发具有我国自主知识产权的蓝莓新品种迫在眉睫[3]。北高丛蓝莓具有较强的抗冻旱能力,其经济价值最高、栽培面积最大,是开发时间最早的蓝莓类型,因此,培育北高丛蓝莓新品种,对改善我国蓝莓果实品质、扩大北方地区蓝莓种植面积具有重要意义。

1 选育经过

1.1 育种方法

丰可来是从日出的自然杂交播种实生苗中选育出来的。日出(Sunrise)是1988 年由美国农业部发表的品种,杂交谱系为G180×ME-US6629,是一种早熟的四倍体高丛蓝莓。

1.2 育种过程

2010年7月,从大连森茂现代农业有限公司(大连市金州新区华家街道新石村)的蓝莓种质资源圃中,收集北高丛蓝莓品种日出的种子,并于2011年春对所收集的种子播种,成功培育出236 株实生苗。2012年春,将培育的日出1年生实生苗,移栽至大连普世蓝农业科技有限公司(辽宁省大连庄河市长岭镇双盛村)继续培养。2015年7月,培育的日出实生苗果实开始成熟,从中挑选出果实大、甜度高、风味好的蓝莓子代,编号为森茂353。经由品鉴与检测,该品种的果实颗粒大,形状扁圆,颜色呈现为中蓝色,果粉厚度中等且分布均匀,果实口感香甜,细腻汁多,果实为中等硬度,丰产,适合蓝莓鲜食市场。2016年6 月开始,对该优良品系及其无性繁殖后代的各项性状进行了为期一年的全面评估,到2017年7月,对该蓝莓品种的果实产量、品质等关键性状进行全面评估,其特异性状表现稳定。2019 年7 月,该蓝莓新品种通过国家林业和草原局的DUS 现场实质审查,并于2019 年12 月获批植物新品种权证书(证书编号20190408),被正式命名为丰可来(图1)。

2 主要性状

2.1 植物学特征

丰可来属于北高丛蓝莓,多年生灌木,丛生,树势旺盛,树姿为半开型;单叶互生,绿色,椭圆形叶,叶片平均面积为12.01 cm2,叶形指数为1.93,叶边缘为锯齿状;总状花序,坛形花冠,花瓣颜色为白色或粉白色,子房下位;无根毛,纤维状细根,分布浅,根系内有真菌寄生,形成内生菌根,可以辅助蓝莓吸收养分并抵御重金属中毒。

2.2 物候期

丰可来在大连地区露地种植通常3 月初开始花芽萌发,4 月中旬开花,5 月初开始进入盛花期,花期可持续15 d 左右,其果实通常于6 月中上旬开始进入转色期。丰可来属于早熟品种,果实在自然状态下通常6月下旬开始成熟。

2.3 果实主要经济性状

丰可来的新生结果枝平均长度为10.67 cm,单枝结果数12颗;果穗密度中等,果萼直立生长。果实呈扁圆形,平均单个果实的质量为2.34 g、单个果实的大小为1.57 cm × 1.78 cm,单个果实的最大质量为2.57 g,其果粉厚度中等、质地均匀,果实颜色为中蓝色(102-B)。丰可来的果实硬度为2.77 kg·cm-2,果实酸甜,其可溶性固形物含量(w)为10.50%,酸度水平适中,果蒂痕细小。在自然状态下,该蓝莓品种于6月下旬开始成熟,属于早熟品种,果实质地细腻、口感脆、果个大、香甜多汁、果实丰产性好,可作为北方寒冷地区鲜果销售栽培品种(表1)。

3 分子鉴定

利用自主研发的1 对核心引物 SSR920(目标条带为192 bp),对蓝莓新品种丰可来及其母本日出,以及自主培育的13 个行业主推蓝莓品种进行鉴定(图2)。通过PCR 扩增以及聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳检测,以100 bp 的DNA Marker 作为参照物,结果显示,SSR920引物可以对蓝莓新品种丰可来及其母本日出以及这13 个蓝莓产业主推品种进行区分和鉴定。这15个品种分别选自瑞卡、蓝光、丹尼斯蓝、盖普顿、丰富、云雀、日出、丰可来、绿宝石、艾克塔、比洛克西、蓝港、玉兰、哈里森、盛世,其中母本日出和新品种丰可来在图中分别位于第7和第8泳道。

4 栽培技术要点

4.1 适宜种植的范围

喜冷凉气候,适宜在中国北方或高海拔地区种植。要求土壤结构疏松、透气,排水性好、有机质含量高,园地平整,坡度不超过10%,具备良好的灌溉条件;土壤质地以草炭土、壤土或壤砂土为宜,酸性土壤,土壤pH 值适宜范围为4.0~5.5,有机质含量要求在3.0%~15%,种植区域需冷量为600~1200 h。

4.2 建园定植

建园土地要提前耕翻熟化,土壤翻耕深度以20~30 cm 为宜,需清理石块、草根、硬木块等,场地平整,坡度小于30°,不积水。蓝莓要求酸性土壤和较低的地势条件,当土壤干旱、pH 值高、有机质含量不足时,必须采取措施进行调节。当土壤pH值较高时,需要施用硫粉进行调节,应在定植前1 年结合深翻和整地同时进行;土壤有机质含量过低时,可以通过添加酸性基质(草炭等)来进行土壤改良,以调整到5%以上为宜。除掺入土壤有机质外,还可采用黑色塑料地膜覆盖软木锯末的方式改良,效果更佳。选择生根后抚育2~3 a(年)的大苗于秋季定植,种植株行距建议为1.5 m×2.0 m。

4.3 水肥管理

要求酸性、湿润的土壤和平整的地势条件,低洼、排水不良的土壤栽培蓝莓时需要平整土地;土壤干旱、pH值高、有机质含量不足时,可通过调节上层土壤水分、pH 值,掺入土壤有机物等进行改良。用腐解好的软木锯末结合黑色塑料膜在蓝莓根系表层进行覆盖,可以促进蓝莓根系发育,扩大养分和水分的吸收面积,同时可以防止土壤水分蒸发,控制杂草[4]。沙土的土壤湿度小,持水力低,需配置灌水设施以满足蓝莓水分需要。蓝莓栽培管理时,应注意将滴灌管放在蓝莓地膜下方,果实膨大时期注意水分的供应,栽苗之前需施腐熟好的有机肥。蓝莓果实采收后,需要根据土壤情况施肥,以促进树体发育,保证来年果实产量。

4.4 整形修剪

蓝莓幼树期修剪以去花芽为主,通过摘心、打尖等促进侧枝生长、扩大树冠;定植后第2年以疏除弱小枝条为主,第3、4年扩大树冠,树体成年后修剪以控制树高、改善植株通透性为主。夏季果后修剪是蓝莓幼树扩大树冠、老树更新复壮、盛果期树维持稳产丰产的重要措施,主要采用短截与疏除相结合的方式进行修剪,回缩过高枝条,疏除树冠顶部过密枝,以改善光照条件,此外,果后修剪和肥水管理要相互结合,以补充营养,恢复树势。冬季修剪在白露时节,修剪方式以促花芽为主,可以将过密或过长的枝条,以及老枝、贫弱枝都剪掉。

4.5 病虫害防治

蓝莓病害主要有缺素症(缺铁、缺镁等)、僵果病、灰霉病等。蓝莓叶片缺铁失绿的主要原因是土壤pH 值过高、Ca2+含量过高、有机质含量不足等,可采用硫酸铵结合草炭进行土壤改良的方式矫治,缺镁失绿症可施用氧化镁。僵果病会造成新叶、芽、花序等突然萎蔫、变褐,果实失水、变干、脱落,通过入冬前焚烧或掩埋果园内的落果、落叶,以及在春季开花前对土壤进行浅耕或施用尿素,可以有效降低僵果病的发生率。灰霉病是一种真菌病害,该病对蓝莓产量影响最大,在低温高湿条件下容易发病,在花期使用有效的杀菌剂、通过修剪改善植株通透性等能够控制灰霉病[5]。蓝莓虫害主要有蔓越橘蛆虫、蓝莓花象甲、蓝莓蚜螨、毒蛾、刺蛾、蝽象及鸟类啄食等。在进行病虫害防治时,应优先采用物理防治和生物防治,必要时再采用化学防治,但应该注意安全隔药期,使用低毒、安全的生物源农药。蓝莓蚜螨体型极小,但危害较大,可在果实采收后喷施马拉硫磷油溶剂进行防治;对于蓝莓蛆虫,可采用喷施桂森等杀虫剂的方式进行防治;蓝莓害鸟主要有喜鹊、麻雀等,可以通过声音驱鸟、人工驱鸟、铺设防鸟网等进行防治。

4.6 露地冬季防寒

北高丛蓝莓在辽东半岛需埋土防寒或者利用塑料、无纺布等包裹物进行冬季防寒,防寒前应灌透水;在北方寒冷多雪地区也可采用人工堆雪的方式来确保树体安全越冬,一般覆盖度以树体高度2/3为宜,适宜厚度为15~30 cm;在胶东半岛、中原区域可露天越冬,不需要防寒。

Breeding report of a new blueberry cultivar Fengkelai

Abstract:Fengkelai is a new and distinct cultivar with storage-resistant and productive features, derived from the northern highbush blueberry. It was formerly known as the Senmao 353. Fengkelai was selected from sown seedlings of the blueberry variety Sunrise, which belongs to the genus Vaccinium L.in the family Ericaceae, and is a third-generation health-care berry fruit crop. This cultivar is suitable for the north region of the Yangtze River or high altitude areas in China, with high sweetness, delicate juice, high yield and good flavor with aroma, and also suitable for the early-season fresh market. In July 2010, H. Wang collected the seeds of Sunrise from the blueberry germplasm resource nursery of Dalian Senmao Modern Agriculture Co. Ltd. (Xinshi Village, Huajia Street, Jinzhou New Zone, Dalian). The seeds germinated in Spring 2011 and 236 seedlings grew. These seedlings were later transferred to the Experimental Station of Dalian Pushilan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., in spring of 2012. (Shuangsheng village, Changling town, Zhuanghe City, Dalian, Liaoning province) at a row spacing of 1.5 m with 2.0 m between plants. In late June 2015, G. Xu evaluated and selected the best progeny from them,with one of them numbered Senmao 353. After evaluation, the blueberry of Senmao 353 showed large fruit size, medium fruit density, erect sepal attachment position, flat-round shape, medium blue color(102-B), good powder and uniform texture, small fruit picking scar, high sweetness, medium acid, good flavor and aroma, high firmness, good productivity, and high appeal for fresh fruit market. The ripening period in the natural state is around the second half of June, and it is an early-maturing variety. Fengkelai has medium thickness and uniform distribution of pollen, and medium firmness of fruit (2.77 N).The average single fruit size is 1.57 cm × 1.78 cm, and average maximum individual fruit mass is 2.34 g,with a maximum fruit mass of 2.57 g. From June 2016 to July 2017, the blueberry variety was thoroughly evaluated for key traits like fruit yield and quality, and its specific traits were stable. The new blueberry variety passed the DUS on-site substantive examination and received a certificate of plant cultivar rights from the National Forestry and Prairie Bureau in 2019, and was named Fengkelai. Fengkelai is an early ripening variety, the fruits usually start to ripen in late June in their natural state, and the range of requirement is about 600-1200 hours, which is suitable for planting in northern China or high altitude areas. Regarding soil texture, it prefers to charcoal soil, loamy soil or sandy loam, and acidic soil with suitable range of soil pH from 4.0 to 5.5 and organic matter content of 3.0% to 15%. Planting spacing is recommended to be 1.5 m×2.0 m, and well-rotted organic fertilizer should be applied before planting seedlings. Insufficient water during fruit swell can seriously affect bush growth, development and yield.Black mulch can be used under the canopy of blueberry bushes for effective weed control. Winter and summer pruning should be carried out, starting after the completion of the summer fruit harvest. The pruning methods should adopt a combination of short cutting and thinning. Winter pruning shoud carry out in the ‘White Dew’ season, and pruning objective is to promote flower bud develpment. The main blueberry diseases include leaf chlorosis, stiff fruit disease and gray mold. Winter protection can be conducted by burying the bushes with soil or utilizing wraps like plastic or non-woven fabrics.
